Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-27
At Image Shuttle, your privacy is our core value. This Privacy Policy explains our approach to data collection and processing when you use image.shuttlelab.org.
Information We Collect
Image Shuttle does not collect, store, or transmit any of your images or personal data. All image processing occurs entirely within your web browser using client-side technologies (Canvas API, WebAssembly, and Web Workers). Your images never leave your device.
Local Storage
Image Shuttle uses your browser's localStorage to store your preferences, such as theme selection (light/dark/system) and language settings (English/Chinese). This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
No Server Processing
Unlike traditional online image compression tools, Image Shuttle performs all operations locally in your browser. There is no server-side processing, no file uploads, and no temporary storage on remote servers. This design ensures complete privacy for your images.
Third-Party Services
Image Shuttle is hosted on Cloudflare for content delivery. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, access time) as part of normal CDN operation. We do not use analytics trackers, advertising networks, or any other third-party services that collect user data.
Cookies
Image Shuttle does not use cookies. All user preferences are stored in localStorage, which is not transmitted to our servers.
Children's Privacy
Image Shuttle does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since we do not collect any personal data at all, our service is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be reflected in the 'Last updated' date above. Your continued use of Image Shuttle after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
